An interactive workshop entitled “Legal terminology in insurance documents and contracts” will be run on 13 December 2014 in Manchester, UK, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Sue Leschen, a qualified solicitor (non-practising), legal and commercial French interpreter and translator, and independent CPD trainer.

She also has a special interest in professional conduct and ethics for interpreters and translators and writes and lectures (both in person and by webinar) on this subject.
Programme
Examining an insurance contract (drafted in English) with a view to checking understanding of the legal terminology used and compiling a specific glossary of insurance terms for future use. CPD: 4 hours.
