Stop press
This Wednesday, 18 October, the Westminster Forum for Language and Linguistics is hosting a research seminar entitled ‘Making sense of adversarial interpreting’. The venue is Wells Street 314, 32/38 Wells Street, London, W1T 3UW and the event starts at 5pm. The seminar is run by Krzysztof Kredens from Aston University and looks at interpreting in legal settings and whether interpreters working in a team can help improve the overall result, correcting misunderstandings or mistranslations that may occur. For anyone unable to attend, there is an interesting article by Mr. Kreden available here.
